You don’t have to be in a campaign to appreciate the marketing tools you have at your disposal, but building your knowledge on all the different ways you can promote yourself will help you consider how to make the most out of opportunities by broadening your audience.

You may look at shows, radio sessions or even single releases as standalone activity, but you can easily pull things together to turn it into a campaign and put together a strategy of promotion around it with goals and targets.

This session will explore all the different types of marketing activity you can utilise, whether you’ve got a bit of budget to play with or nothing at all.

We will be looking at offline, online, paid and organic marketing and how we can apply different methods to music audiences. Not only will this give you more tools in your toolbox when you are approaching different types of activity, but will also give you the knowledge to breakdown marketing activity in funding applications, too.

This session is not only suitable for those who are just getting started, but also those that want to review their current practices for missed opportunities.
