Your progress log on your profile is the place to keep a record of your action points that come from your chat. You can also share your progress, plans, artwork, photos and links to new material on there. All mentors can view your logs.
We also recommend you update your Metrics each month so you can log your development on streaming, socials, press, etc. It creates a useful graphic that will allow you to visually see areas that you need to develop.
With Katie Mac:
Katie is a singer-songwriter from Huyton who has spent the last 10 years turning her hobby into a career. Since 2016, she has toured the UK and Europe respectively and has garnered significant support from the BBC having had multiple tracks played on both BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Merseyside.
Consequentially, Katie’s musical experiences have resulted in a carefully refined ability in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the industry, leaving her with a passion to instil similar skill sets in others. So far, she has assisted in navigating her peers in the business of music, supported in identifying the correct opportunities for their personal musical endeavours, and ensured that their confidence and self-belief remains at the forefront of their venture.
Katie also delves into the much earlier stages of musical experiences and teaches young children to play the ukulele and guitar. She facilitates and executes regular live performances and gig opportunities ranging from the intimacy of a child’s first concert in primary school, to under 18’s exhibiting their talent in various music venues around the city of Liverpool.
Katie is currently working towards a BA Hons in Music Production.
