MENTOR DROP IN SESSIONS: NATALIE LLOYD

7/06/23 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Mentor sessions available to book in individual time slots.

Each session is half an hour. If you think you need an hour to discuss release strategy or live strategy, for example – you can book an hour. Please RSVP for two half hours next to each other.

Sessions will take place in the yellow area at Future Yard.

Your progress log on your profile is the place to keep a record of your action points that come from your chat. You can also share your progress, plans, artwork, photos and links to new material on there. All mentors can view your logs.

We also recommend you update your Metrics each month so you can log your development on streaming, socials, press, etc. It creates a useful graphic that will allow you to visually see areas that you need to develop.

With Natalie Lloyd:

Natalie is a skilled live event booker who is passionate about supporting emerging regional and local talent in the music industry. As a Live Booker at Future Yard, she collaborates closely with the Head Booker to program and curate live music events, with a particular focus on showcasing up-and-coming artists. Whether booking support acts for national tours, curating showcases, programming our New Noise Club matinee shows for under 18s, or working as a live development mentor as part of the Propeller team, Natalie is committed to promoting exciting new talent across a variety of genres and styles. Her extensive knowledge and connection to the local music scene enable her to identify and champion emerging artists with great potential.

Natalie’s desire to work within the music industry began when she moved to Liverpool and got a job in a record shop and live music venue. From there, she spent the next five years doing everything she could to gain experience in the industry, honing her skills in gig repping, box office management, and merchandising for local and national promoters across the Liverpool City Region. Alongside getting her degree in Music Business at SAE, she has interned for Sound City, and stage managed for the likes of Focus Wales and BBC Radio Wales.

Natalie runs her own shows and puts out tapes under the banner of Friendly Headbutt, where she prioritises queer and marginalised artists, showcasing their talents to a wider audience.

Come chat with Natalie about your live strategy, local and beyond!
