MERCH AND DIRECT TO FAN COMMERCE
14/11/24 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmArguably, you should be considering your merch offer as soon you start playing shows, but what does that look like?
We’ll be considering how to build up an offer affordably and sustainably so that it can become an income stream early doors.
We will also be exploring how to turn your listener base into subscribers and customers who will continue to buy what you have to offer.
When it’s time to stick an album out, it’s super useful if you can guarantee sales through pre-orders upon announcement. To ensure these come from fans outside of your family and friends group, it’s essential that you cultivate a fan-base of supportive individuals who are ready to turn up when you need them. An audience who buy pre-sale tickets, make a dent in your t-shirt runs and will count towards early sales of your album and beyond.
This session will look at the relevant parts of audience development, the platforms that you should be focussing on and how to get the best out of them, how to build a strategy around your merch offer and ultimately work towards turning someone who has caught a song and liked it, into someone that will contribute to your revenue.
This session is not only suitable for those who are just getting started, but also those that want to review their current practices for missed opportunities.
Please register your attendance in advance. Limited spaces available.
