CREATING A RELEASE DAY CHECKLIST

One of the things we’ve wanted to do for ages is put together a checklist of all of those things that we need to in order to put our best foot forward on release day. All the platforms that need updating, key people that need to be kept in the loop, where you need to be sticking your song to pick up key opportunities and the different sizes of artwork that are needed and why.

We’ll be going through all of this in the session and discuss the challenges we’re all facing and how we can combat them in our preparation. Hopefully by the end of this session there’ll be no stones unturned and we will have a solid basis for a checklist that can be used and that we can update when things change and evolve, particularly on the ever changing social media platforms.

This will be a key session whether you’re actually releasing music at the moment or not, as it’ll look at the whole landscape and you can make some decisions on which platforms you want to be on and how to make the most of them.
