OPEN MIC – LIVE ROOM

May’s edition of Open Mic will take place in the Live Room on Wednesday 15th. Hosted by Katie Mac, our open mic is a great opportunity to showcase your new material in front of a supportive crowd of songwriters and music fans.

KEY INFO:

• Our open is for singer/songwriters and is not appropriate for band setups. There is a limit of two performers per slot.
• There will be two vocal mics and inputs for up to 2 instruments. If you have any special requests that you wish to be accommodated, please email openmic@futureyard.org  and we can advise if we can do it.
• All performers are invited to play 2-3 songs, preferably with at least one original song.
• A drinks token will be given to each performer which can be used on soft drinks, hot drinks and house alcoholic drinks.
• Performers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• All skill levels of performers are welcome.
• When the live room hasn’t got a gig in it, Open Mic will take place in there and will be announced as such. When there’s a gig on, it will be hosted in the yellow room. When we are using the live room, the same rules of two performers per slot apply.
