Studios @ Future Yard

Five high-quality basement rehearsal studios are now available to hire at Future Yard in Birkenhead. Alongside the PROPELLER artist mentorship programme, these studios offer a chance for musicians in the region to practice in a welcoming, artist-focused space which doubles as a bustling live music venue, bar, coffee shop and artist hub. Studios are available to hire with full backline (drums, guitar amps, bass amp) or just with microphones and PA, making them ideal for full groups (up to six members), solo set-ups and drum practice.

Our high-quality, professional rehearsal studios are available to hire from as little as £6.25 per hour. All Future Yard studios come with Sennheiser microphones and full PA system. Our backline is pro standard and well maintained including a range of Yamaha, Premier + Gretsch kits, plus Marshall, Blackstar, Orange, Hartke + Fender amps. We also have a limited number of secure lockers for hire.

The studios are situated in our basement, accessed from Future Yard’s front bar (entrance on Argyle Street). Equipment load-in is via the rear of the building on Alma Street (CH41 4BX). The rear load-in door is accessed by a code (changed weekly), which you can collect from a member of staff at the front bar. Once you’ve loaded in you must clear the loading bay and park elsewhere – the area is well serviced by public parking on Argyle Street and a number of public car parks in the area (Argyle Street, Hinson Street, Duncan Street).
